Bookmarklets

None of these are written by me. I’ve merely collected them to my bookmarks toolbar over time, and have had many people ask about them.

• POST2GET converts all HTML forms on the page from POST-method to GET. After running this bookmarklet, submit a form to see the results.
• Link Colorer colors internal links red, external links blue, and in-page links (anchors) orange.
• Hide visited hides all visited links on a page. Useful when wading through a large list of links.
• Toggle checkboxes does what it says, it toggless the checked state of all checkboxes on a page. If you have a huge list of items you want checked and only a few that you want to leave out, this is a life saver.
• Hidden formfields is my personal favorite. It displays any and all hidden formfields on a page for your editing pleasure.

To use any of these, just drag the link to your toolbar, or right-click on the link and select “Bookmark target”.
Most of these will only work on Firefox, but you can give a go with Opera, IE and the folks, too.
